Connecting technology, business and the state
We unite companies and private individuals active in Lithuania's blockchain sector and represent their interests at national, EU and international level — from regulatory clarity to cross-border partnerships.
What we work on
Seven directions strengthening Lithuania's blockchain sector in the MiCA era.
Advocacy & policy
Consolidated market positions for the Bank of Lithuania, Ministry of Finance and Parliament: MiCA practice, tax clarity, proportionate AML.
MiCA licensing hub
CASP guides, "MiCA clinics" and experience of licensed firms — Lithuania as your gateway to an EU-passportable licence.
Tokenization & DLT
From digital bonds to DLT Pilot Regime projects — real tokenization, not just registrations.
Education
Training for institutions and business: MiCA, DAC8, DORA, applied blockchain. University partnerships.
EU projects & EBSI
Digital Europe funding, EUROPEUM-EDIC activities and the national blockchain competence centre partnership.
Digital euro readiness
Preparing members for the ECB pilot (2027) and contributing positions on the digital euro regulation.
Community & visibility
Annual Summit, meetup series and international communication of Lithuania's precedents — from Robinhood to Axiology.

Frequently asked questions
Who can join LBCA?
Both legal entities and private individuals: CASP firms, law firms, fintechs, infrastructure builders, academia, as well as blockchain professionals and enthusiasts. The board decides on admission within 14 days.
Does LBCA help obtain a MiCA (CASP) licence?
We do not issue licences or represent applicants, but members get practical guides, MiCA clinic consultations and the experience of already-licensed firms. Licences are issued by the Bank of Lithuania.
Why choose Lithuania for MiCA licensing?
An EU-passportable licence, an experienced supervisor (250+ fintechs under its watch), English-speaking regulator communication, and precedents: Robinhood's first EU CASP licence and Axiology's DLT Pilot Regime authorisation.
How much does membership cost?
The fee depends on company size and activity. Details are provided in the reply to your application at info@lbca.lt.
